My Approach

No two people experience life in the same way, which is why I don't believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred, CBT, and psychodynamic. As we find an approach that feels best for you, we will work towards your goals in a way that will feel supportive, steady and manageable for you.

What you can expect

Sessions are a space where you can talk openly, without fear of judgement or pressure. Some people come with a clear goal, while others simply know that something doesn't feel quite right. You do not need to have it all figured out. Wherever you're starting from, we'll work together in an initial session to explore different areas of your life events, relationships and thought processes to create a clearer picture of what is happening for you.

Therapy can involve exploring current challenges, understanding emotional patterns, developing practical coping strategies, or making sense of difficult experiences. My role is to support and guide you while helping you build confidence, resilience, and greater self-understanding.

For parents, we will work together during part of the initial session to establish how therapy will best support your child.

Qualifications and Experience

I bring a strong educational background and ongoing professional development to my work, including:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Systemic Family Therapy

  • Level 7 Counselling Children and Young People

  • Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling

  • Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology

  • Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

  • Regular Continued Professional Development (CPD) training

Who I work with

I work with children, young people, and adults of all ages, with a particular focus on supporting children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 30. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, I offer a warm, supportive space to explore a wide range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, and life transitions.
